Hi ..I have also booked a flat in officer city 2,please talk on this number,9717064999 . So that we can create a whats app group for OC-2 Current status
I am agree with Vishal............. It is very much necessary for those who buy flats/apartments to receive and keep hold of the Occupancy Certificate before they can move into their new home. So, it becomes very necessary to keep the Occupancy Certificate in possession to ensure that there are no troubles in obtaining water connection, sanitary connection and electricity connection to your house.
Before taking your flat possession ask for the Completion and occupancy certificate. Occupancy Certificate indicates that the building has followed all the norms required for construction of a building and legally approved. If your builder is not providing Occupancy certificate, then you may have to face the trouble in the future. Your electricity and power may be stopped by the local body and building can be demolished in absence of Occupancy Certificate.
Yes, a completion certification is an important and mandatory legal document attesting to the fact that a new building has been constructed and completed according to all the safety norms and regulations of the Buildings Act.
At the same time, completion certificate should contain all the required details, including the identification of the land, the location, if the building has met all the standards of safety and regulation, the distance from the road, distance from surrounding buildings, height and other criteria set by the Municipal authorities, along with the building plan.
