Supporting documents required for obtaining Completion Certificate:- 1. Submit application and design plans at Building Proposal office of BMC and pay scrutiny fee, 2) Receive site inspection from Building Proposal Office, 3) Obtain Intimation of Disapproval from the Building Proposal Office and pay fees, 4) NOC from Tree Authority, Storm Water, and Drain Department, Sewerage Department, Hydraulic Department, Environmental Department, Traffic and Coordination Department, fire NOC.

The local body of nearly all the major cities in India have made completion certificate mandatory for every building because of the following reasons
1) The Completion Certificates ensures that you have constructed the building as per approved plan without any major deviations and violations. 2) Housing Loan is sanctioned by banks after submission of the completion certificate. 3) Your building is computed for property tax with effect from the date of completion of the building. 4) Water and electricity connection for the building is provided after obtaining its completion certificate.
