Q:I have purchased an apartment from a builder in Bangalore. this was in under construction stage in Jan 2012 when I have purchased and builder promised to deliver in Dec.2012. I have been paying to builder all amount as progress stage as per sale agreement. today I have paid 92% of amount of Flat cost but builder still says now 12 more months to complete. builder is also not giving delay compensation amount as mentioned in sale agreement. he tells that will be given at the time of handover of flat. what can we all owners collectively do against builder against this delay. Please advice what all options can be exercise by us.
Latest Answer: Hi Jignesh, If the builder is not doing accordingly what he has mentioned in the agreement then definitely you can take him to the consumer court but it is better to talk with the builder before going for any kind of legal action about the same.
Q:They communicated that it can be settled by making payment to bbmp, but i dont wish to land myself into legal issues with bbmp in future, kindly let know if its safe to buy this property
