I recently rented a flat in Conscient Heritage One and have faced quite a few issues with the quality of construction

Q: I recently rented a flat in Conscient Heritage One and have faced quite a few issues with the quality of construction and fittings. There appear to be major problems with the electrical wiring, power backup, metal and other fittings, modular kitchen, and maintenance. Maintenance is unpredictable in service provision; sometimes, they respond and sometimes they don't. Although they are supposed to provide intercom facility, this is given only if you subscribe to the Conscient-owned DelDSL broadband connection, which has a sluggish and poor customer service. I don't know whether the internet itself works, as I have not had a clear response from their team to requests for a connection for over 10 days now. I think I would have had better luck getting the BSNL chaps to set up a connection. Overall, the place may look good, but is not as comfortable as promised.

Latest Answer: Hi, As per me, while the unit is being rented, the landlord must do maintenance work and make repairs which are necessary to keep the unit livable. However, a landlord is not responsible for repairing damages which were caused by the tenant or the tenant's family, guests or pets.

Any progress with this project?

Q: I have heard people who have invested in this project can forget about their money. There has been no progress and the builders are not returning the invested amounts as well. Is this true? Has anyone been able to re-sell booked apartments/ recover money from builders? I have invested my hard earned money in this project but now the builders are not even reachable on phone!

PEOPLE IN AJS HIL VIEW APARTMENTMENT PROJECT HAVE FORMED A GROUP AND HAVE LODGED WRITTEN COMPLAIN ABOUT MRS MADHU SINGH MD OF AJS BUILDERS LTD. 18 FIRS HAVE BEEN LODGED AGST MRS MADHU SINGH AND HER ANTICIPATORY BAIL HAS BEEN REJECTED BY DISTT & SESSIONS JUDGE IN PATIALA HOUSE COURT. MRS MADHU SINGH IS EVADING ARREST. ALL ARE REQUESTED TO LODGE COMPLAIN IN WRITING TO EOW.
