Q: I heard that there is lot of water problem in Somajiguda. What is the situation now? Are there still a lack of civic facilities?

Latest Answer: Before we used to get water supply for hours together, and now only for one hour we get water if we are lucky. We have to literally call the tanker 4 times a week because we stay in an apartment and we run out water extremely quickly. We understand that in the summer it might be a little hard to deal with the situation but during monsoon months like July, still the situation has not improved. It is not as big a problem as it was 2 years ago, but every now and then we wake up to days having absolutely no water.

Q: Hi guys! I’m planning to get a 3 BHK apartment for me and my family in Somajiguda, Hyderabad. Tell me more about the rental prices and also the pros and cons of this locality.
Latest Answer: Hi! As you may already know, property prices are quite hefty in Somajiguda. You can get 3 BHKs for rent in gated communities or in separate apartment buildings. I think for a 3 BHK, you’d have to pay around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 depending upon the location within Somajiguda itself. Since this locality is quite established already, you’ll be able to find a more number of older apartments than newly-constructed apartments. But, most of the old ones well-maintained over there, so you don’t need to worry much. Going by the rates I mentioned, I guess you’d end up paying anywhere between Rs. 12 to Rs. 20 per square feet for renting a place out in Somajiguda.
