The cascading effects of Noida Ext. Land acquisition issue have cascaded to Noida too. As per TOI news report, farmers are doing 'dharna' and disrupting construction work in Sec 74-79, 128. They are demanding higher compensation and are going to file a petition in Allahabad High Court. Under such circumstances it is very natural that every bank would deny loan approval or hold back disbursement for projects in these sectors. We have no choice but to wait and watch what happens.
In the worse case our flat cost can go up since the Flat Buyers Agreement contains a clause where the flat cost may be escalated in case land price goes up due to payment of higher compensation to farmers whose land has been acquired.
