HSR Layout location review

Q: Next month I will be shifting to Bangalore and I am looking for an area which is good to live in and have good schools and other facilities.

HSR Layout is becoming one of the business district in Bangalore City. This layout is now preferred for commercial purpose because many property owners are giving their property for rent for commercial purpose. From past two years HSR Layout is really doing do in commercial sector because of the connectivity and improved infrastructure

HSR Layout offers a mixture of residential and commercial properties such as residential houses, multi storey apartments, builder floor apartments and complexes. The area has seen maximum price appreciation in terms of both residential and commercial rents.

HSR layout is illustrated by three wide line roads. High rental returns and excellent infrastructural development is making HSR Layout a sought after locality.

Everyone is telling that HSR Layout is good for investment purpose.... Can anyone explain why it is so?

HSR layout is one of the preferred location for both buying and renting because the locality has good infrastructure and all the amenities to make the area livable. HSR Layout offers properties of different ranges and all promises good returns from investment point of view.

Reaching the bangalore International Airport (Kempegowda International Airport) is a matter of 22 minutes from the area.

HSR Layout is the fastest upcoming and most sought after layout only next to Koramangala in South Bangalore. HSR Layout is one of the best designed layout with wide roads and innumerable parks. Also, the layout does not face water shortage issue.

The price per sq ft of a property in Pristine Elegance will be around Rs 6,500 and the price per sq ft in Kritan Calista is around Rs 5,700.

HSR layout is one of the most happening area of Bangalore. The area is well connected to all parts of the city including Electronic City, Hosur Road, Sarjapur Road, Whitefeild Road and located by the side of Koramangala. The area has wide roads; very less traffic chaos is the beauty of the residential area. Only disadvantage of the area is there are lot of construction works going on which create some noise and dust around the area.

I agree with Mr Pratap...HSR Layout sees less traffic because of wide roads. The locality receives a healthy demand for multi-storey apartments, residential houses and plots.

Can you please tell me how the real estate in this area is? If at all I want to sell off my house after 5 to 6 years can I expect good returns?

The region has attended great uplift in the residential projects and partially the commercial projects. The price of the properties has been increasing constantly which has given rise to the real estate sector. At present, the region has numerous residential projects by reputed builders. In the July-Sep quarter of 2013, the locality price appreciated to Rs 5147 per sq. ft. So after few years you can definitely expect very good return.

Hey Abhishek, You can go for HSR layout. Hosur Sarjapur Road Layout is popularly known as HSR Layout which is settled in South-East of Bangalore. It is strategically located between Hosur Road and Sarjapur Road. This is one of the largest layouts in Bangalore and is categorized into 7 Blocks as 7 Sectors which are criss-crossed by main roads and cross roads. The Sector 1 is the largest and Sector 6 is the smallest among all the sectors. The layout is designed on the basis of modern town planning principles and comprises of low rise Blocks & Independent Houses. The region also has a BDA Complex and numerous parks. The locality is very nice to live in.
