One of the best things about living in Marine Drive is the most awesome beachside residential localities. Travel to Fort Kochi via boat is very easy. You can also take an auto or bus from here that goes staight to Fort Kochi or Vypin areas. Being in one of the most valuable areas in Kochi, It has some good parks and all here like the Children's park and the Subhash Park.

hey there, Marine Drive area of Kochi is one of the highly developed areas in Kochi. The Marine Drive is overseen by the Greater Cochin Development Authority or the GCDA. They have been responsible for all the high rises in the area like the Gateway Residency hotel, the Bay Pride Mall, Kerala Trade Centre as well as many others.

Another prob you might face here are the autos. The fdrivers are complete goons, asking for extra double fares or even outright refuse to go where you want. Its better if you dont depend on the autos. Take the Red Buses instead.

Yeah earlier it used to be around Rs 600 for every 10,000 litres of water, now it has gone up to Rs 2000. Also I think this is one of the reasons behind the rise of total construction cost. The materials are more expensive, the labour is more expensive

It is a nice place for sure. But yeah, I'm afraid that there is some water problems here. Residents have been depending on water tankers for some time now. And the worst thing is that the prices for those have been going up every year.
