Q: Whats this place like in terms of social infra, commercial facilities, healthcare, connectivity, price trends, etc. Would love to hear some review of this area.
There have been two residential projects here in Edachira junction - Olive Kalista Astra and the Olive Kalista Arista, both of which have been completed quite some time now. Apartments here at the junction are selling at an average price rate of Rs 4000 per sq ft, which will surely be appreciated as the smart city completion date draws closer.
Its understandable why so many people are flocking to this place, it has a really solid comercial infrastructure here, which is what the younger crowd of home buyers and renters are looking for. For example there is this CM Margin Free Supermarket, which provides regular housold items, right at the junction.
Lots of small bakeries and cafes feature in this region actually. There is the Embees bakery, then the KK bakery. Oh and of course the Kings bakery too is here. However the Badri Bakers is really the best here, at least acc to me.
Oh commercial is definitely booming, and how! there are quite a few restaurants and eateries here. For example, the popular food chain 5 Star Chicken have set up shop here. Along with that another popular eatery here is definitely the Hotel Palace.
Yeah social infrastructure wise its still lagging a bit. But commercial sector here is booming I must say. At this rate it is more favourable to invest in the commercial market rather than the residential market here at the Edachira Junction.
Yes I agree with him. Also, there arent any hospital in the junction as well, but you'll find some just down the Infopark road. Lets see, there is St Anthony's Hospital, and then of course Kusumgiri Hospital, and also the Ignatius Ayurvedic Clinic.
The Edachira Junciton in itself is a small place, but it is definitely influenced by the strong social backbone of the adjoining areas. There are two schools really near this places viz Mar Thoma Public School and the Indian Public school. Of course there is the Indian Business School also there, which has influenced the market here tremendously.
Of course, and now that the Smart City is also coming up in the vicinity in Kakkanad within next year, we can expect much more out of this place actually. More development will happen. So if you're thinking of investing here, now is the right time, because every moment the prices are appreciating.
This is basically the junction point between the Infopark road and the Vayanasala road in Kochi. Oh in fact a third road also meets the junction from the south - the Thalakkottu Moola road. Yes and commercially it has become very viable because lots of activities are being seen here.
This spot has become pretty much like a commercial hotspot of Kochi. Earlier it was just farming land, did you know. But ever since the establishment of the Infopark, this place has seen drastic change and has undergone complete urbanization.
