Yes. This project faced prolonged delays for issus like land acquisition among many others and finally the agencies submitted a detailed project report (DPR) to the state government but it is still pending approval from them. Also a private partner is being elusive for them to find to contine with this.

This project was meant to happen through a Publis Private Partnership (PPP) and it would have had a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) which would have been meant only for export based activities 100 per cent. But the movement of this is in snail's pace and it doesn't instill confidence.

Hey you know this public private partner ship thing for the project was given an area of 116 acres for the project to be built upon. The estimated cost of this was Rs. 161 crore but nothing has happened thus far.

Yes. The Diamond Park or Gems and Jewelry park project has went through a lot of bureaucratic hurdles. This is supposed to happen in Rau area of Indore. Had it happened, Indore would have taken up Surat's place as the diamond hub in India.

Hello. Yes. This is such a shame. This project was conceived about 20 years ago from now. But due to impediments one after the other that the project hasn't seen the light of day. It's disgusting how politics spoils everything, everywhere.
