Yes. After all the fiasco, the high court issued a warning and notice that the places must be completely vacated or they would face action and the contempt of court to which the inhabitants bdged and emptied the location.
This was pending for quite a while. IMC had issued notices for demolition of constructions that were on the green belt areas. Following which owners of structures managed to obtain stay from court putting a pause to the inevitable cause that lead to this.
This was done with the help of blast expert they drilled buildings and carried out three blasts, two at Khambati Farm House and one at City Park. Apparently the walls were strong enough that it withstood JCB's efforts and hence dynamite came into the picture.
Despite all these efforts from the IMC, the buildings could not be destroyed, because according to people that were close noticed and supposedly that it would take 2 days at the least to complete with the demolition entirely.
The explosion was carried out during the time between 2 pm and 5 pm on friday, and dynemites were used to blow up the structures with the help of 15 kgs of gun powder to bring these structures to the ground.
THe other property owned by another businessman named Lokesh Agrawal was spread over two acres in Rajendra Nagar, and was also reduced to debris by using around 5 kg gun power. Estimated cost of City Park, claim sources in IMC, is Rs 5 crore.
You know the farm house was not a simple one it was decorated with intricate designs and costly plants, spread over around about 3 acres of land on Annapurna Road was blown up using around 10 kg gun power. Estimated cost, according to IMC sources, of the farm house is Rs 25 crore.
Businessman Saifuddin Khambati's farm house, which boasted of an international-standard swimming pool, a tennis court, a badminton court, an outhouse, a club house, a horse stable with high-bred horses worth Rs 25 lakh each was one of them that was destroyed.
These properties were allegedly built on a green belt area and the IMC nor the high court would simply sit through and watch this happen. So a reputed bench came up with the decision to take this action.

Indore municipal Corporation has quitely stepped up against some of the huge illegally constructured properties in the city under a government land that was already allotted for some other key projects. THis is a welcome action against the such people.
