British agencies helping Aluva municiipality?
Q: Any scope of the Aluva municipality improving? I want to move to this locality. I have heard that some British agencies were supposed to meet with the officials from the Aluva municipality. Is this true guys? What was the nature of the meeting, and did any good come out of it?

Latest Answer: Of all the issues, the main focus was on waste dumping into the Periyar, flooding of the Periyar, waste treatment plants, the increasing content of carbon which are affecting the populated municipality and the issues of climate change.

Q: I heard about the building collapsing in Aluva. Its so scary! And considering that I was just thinking of buying porperty here. Should I reconsider other localities, or is there any precautions I can take against this?

Latest Answer: See the fault doesnt lie with the locality. Aluva is a good place to live in, I think this was just an isolated incident of carelessness. As long as you make sure that the apartment you're going after has no such faulty construction, and everything has been done as per the rulebook, you have nothing to worry about.

Latest Answer: Hey! Aluva's Temples are quite famous. You could show them Pottachira Sree Krishna Temple which is pretty close by. It'd take you about 15 to 20 mins to get there. Make sure you and your friends have a good time in Aluva. Cheers.

Q: Hey I'd like to know if there are any trains from Aluva to Mangalore. I want to visit my sister who stays there. I'm new to Aluva so if there are no trains to get there, are there buses to Mangalore which i can avail ?

Latest Answer: Heya... the aluva railway station has 3 platforms but only one entrance. Thus another entrance is going to be constrcucted really soon inorder to make it easier for the passengers to move in and out of the railway station with ease.
