Problems on Banerji Road, Kochi
Q: Heard that recently there were some issues on Banerji Road, near Market Canal recently. Can anybody elaborate, Im shifting there next week, already paid the deposit for the house.

Latest Answer: Nothing that big. Just these local residents of Banerji road raised protest against move by a major builder to convert a footpath into a second entrance to their office building located on here near Market Canal

Latest Answer: I know how you feel. I have to cross this road everyday to go to work and seriously speaking its a big nuisance. It is very uncomfortable driving over these bumpy and uneven roads, and if you’re in a bus or auto, then its much worse.

Latest Answer: They already did look into the matter. They found that out of the three pipelines, there was a shortage of supply in the 48" pipeline, but they didnt find any leaks or reasons for this shortage.

Clogged Drains in Kaloor
Q: I've been reading in the news that Kaloor faces many drainage problems and even infrastructural projects get disrupted because of it. Have the civic authorities done anything to fix the civic issues of the locality?

Latest Answer: Yes the entire worksite was flooded because of this and no works could be taken up for 1 or 2 days. The Metro work really cannot afford to get delayed any further because this is happening all over Kochi. So many problems are being raised because of this project and it's high time everyone cooperated together so that Kochi will get the development that it deserves. Water had to be pumped out with large pipes and then only could the work resume. Better planning and enforcement of civic facilities will help avoid such situations in the future!
