2BHK in R.S. Puram

Q: I will be moving to Coimbatore from Patna pretty soon for work. I’ve heard a lot about the locality of R.S. Puram, and I’m thinking of buying a 2BHK apartment there. Can anyone tell me if R.S. Puram is a good residential area to move into with my family?

Also there is some illegal power connection issue in this locality. Some illegal dealings have occurred as commercial and residential buildings have been offered low tension connections. So now they can get remaining power supply from other locality transformers. This is being investigated.

There is a waste disposal issue here. Few years ago the Shunya waste management plan was launched. The residents were supposed to segregate waste, which was to be dumped or treated depending on its nature. But segregation at the source didn't really happen and the residents were just dumping all the waste together.

Hey, good choice! R.S. Puram is the prime residential area in Coimbatore. The residential properties are mostly bungalows and villas, but there are also some good apartment building projects in this area. Check out the Srivari Amrit and the Velmurugan apartment projects in this area.
If you’re a family man with kids, then don’t worry, there are plenty of good schools and daycares for your children. The famous KG Hospital is also within easy reach of this locality.

R.S. Puram or Rathina Sabapathy Puram is very well connected with the rest of the city. DB Road is the main road in this locality and it is connected with the Mettupalayam Road on the east and the Thadagam Road on the west. The locality is very well-planned and that is why many people decide to settle in this area in Coimbatore. The Perur bus stop is just 2.5km away and the Coimbatore railway station is just 6.5km away from R.S. Puram

Guys RS Puram is definitely one of the most popular areas in the city which is located at a distance of about 3 kilometers from the railway station and 12 kilometers from the airport, it has the perfect balance of commercial investment and residential sector.

Here you can find many elite restaurants, salons and other such institutions popular among the youth of the city. . All roads running east-west cross DB Road and exit to Mettupalayam Road on the east and Thadagam Road on the west are well connected. :)

@Vivek: The average apartment prices in this locality range from Rs. 6600/- to 6800/- per sq. ft. The average value for residential land in RS Puram is about Rs. 5,000 and above .

If you don’t mind paying a higher rate on your apartment or house, then you can easily buy your family house here without any worries.
