Finally they took the opinion of the public before the clearances for this project was given! Because of the mishap of the BRTS service in Indore, people are very agitated. That's why the state government felt it necessary to see what the public thinks they should do about the situation. Many think that flyovers in the corridor is the best way to avoid traffic. The brts corridor is supposedly going to be situated in the middle of the road so it will be easier if other traffic can take the flyover route. Also lesser number of accidents will take place and there won't be chaos in morning time peak traffic.

According to Mogdhe, this road will reduce traffic near airport and distance to airport would be reduced by 2 km. There are also plans for an 18 crore project for improving road connectivity to industrial areas on Saver Road. However they should actually do the proposed work like they guarantee they will. Lot of mishaps have happened with BRTS and people feel that they cannot take an international level project and just dump it in our country without even studying the local needs first. First these public transport projects should educate the residents about its need and importance. Only then can projects like this really thrive!

They have a lot of plans for the corridor. They're also planning on installing signals because of the traffic congestion in that area. They're also going to increase the number of buses from 8 to 15. And when the buses go up to 20, all other transportation in the corridor will be strictly prohibited altogether so that it is only reserved for the BRTS. But plans to construct the elevated road from Palasia to BRTS has still not been decided as experts are against the idea, but I'm not sure why.

Yes there are plans to ease traffic congestion in the proposed BRTS corridor by a project that is going to construct 5 flyovers and 8 foot overbridges across the corridor. This is all going to cost about 346 crore. With the new budget that Indore has received, it plans to make it very useful by using it for projects such as this. They are looking to increase the real estate potential of the city. The BRTS as of now has had some scandal in Indore and many people are against it. Because it has caused more pollution than less. But if this flyover project will actually ease traffic in that junction then why not? :)
