Locality review of Infopark Campus locality in Kochi
Q: Hey, I am looking for a home near to the Infopark campus locality. Is this area good for living? If so, can you describe for me some of the major features of this area such as any connectivity related or price related or so on?
you can also find plots as well as individual houses also here as for now. In few years, they wont be there, this area has high growth rate. Now the price in this are for individual house is around rs. 20 lakhs per cent. For plots, this can be up to 9-10 lakhs per cent.
Actually, I needed to tell you about the price of the apartments and all in this locality. When I enquired about this...i came to know that the price of an apartmeng will be around starting from 2500 rupees per square feet to 4550 rupees per square feet normally because of the developments going on in the infopark and smart city.
The railway connectivity is obviously very good here. The Ernakulam junction south railway station which is one of the major railway stations in Kochi is very near to the locality, just at around 15 km from here which you can easily reach here by around 45 minutes.
Infopark Campus is one good and well sought after locality in kochi. Most of the IT professionals from various parts of the country and world work in this region. I think that the international airport's proximity to this region is a very important factor for international investments, no..The Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery is just around 27 km from here.
One thing I would like to say about the locality of Infopark is that there are some prominent educational and research institutes here. The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikkode has a satellite campus here. Moreover, you can see that the Indian School of Commerce, Sydney Montessory School, etc are some of the renowned institutions here.
Recreation is one of the things that the IT professionals are always on the lookout for, because of their hectic schedules and all. One of the best water theme parks in India itself, the Wonderla is located very near to this region. I think there is a facility for houseboating also in the Kadambrayar river that flows by the side of the Infopark campus.
Because of the development of IT park here, this area is also facing a growth in the residential settlement here. Just like the coming of apartments here, you can also find some very prominent hospitals and other important residential features here such as Kusumagiri hospital, St. Anthony's Hospital, Ignatius Ayurvedic Centre, etc.

Hey, the location of Infopark is strategic also, you know. It is 12 km away from downtown kochi. The infopark campus also lies close to the Smart City Kochi, which is a proposed information technology park. These development will make the town of Kakkanad a very important centre for IT/ITES in state of kerala.
The Cochin International Airport is around 22 km away from here. It is also connected to the Seaport-Airport Road via the Infopark Expressway. A proposed waterway will also connect the region of Infopark to the Marine Drive area that will really help the connectivity of this region.
I am living in a nearby area to infopark and am working here. In my knowledge, I can point out some good companies that are in the Infopark area such as the Tata Consulting Services, Cognizant, Wipro, UST Global, IBS Software service, IIM Kozhikode, etc. as well as MNCs such as Ernst & Young, KPMG, EXL Services, Etisalat DB Telecom, Nielson Audio, NGA Human Resources, Xerox ACS etc.
The real estate of the nearby areas have increased multiple folds because of the coming of the Infopark here. Hey, the phase I of the Infopark campus is spread over 101 acres with some 3,200,000 square feet of the operational built-up space. Recently, I heard that there is an additional 2,000,000 sq. ft. is now under construction. This is also in the expansion phase also adding another 160 acres as part of the 2nd phase of expansion.
Can you tell me about some of the real estate growths in this area as well as the nearby areas, so that I can decide how the locality will be before moving in here...I need some information about the residential aspects also around the Infopark campus.
