Aren't apartment owners supposed to give temporary place to stay if pests found in the apartment?
Q: I stay in a rented apartment in Mumbai. Recently I found some pests in my apartment. I told my owners about the problem. To my surprise they asked me to move out from my apartment for a few days till they solve the problem. Aren't they supposed to give me a temporary place to live. Where should I supposed to go when I have no one in the city? Please advice me on this.

Latest Answer: I understand your problem. Please speak to your owners about it and make them understand about your problem. You can also go through your rental agreement if clause based on the same is given. I feel a temporary provision should be given if you live on your own. You can speak to other residents of the apartment or take any legal help if needed.
