Q: I heard that the city out-skirt lake is also getting polluted. Who is going to look into the matter?
Latest Answer: The pollution is spreading all over the Bangalore city which are causing high threats to the environment. Indian Institute of Science is researching and monitoring lakes in the city to put an end to the situation.

Q: I heard that Bellundur which is one of the largest and beautiful lake in Bangalore is fully polluted and is full of heavy chemicals which is causing threat to the wildlife, What are the Bangalore government doing, will they take any step to clean the lake in a regular interval?
Latest Answer: I stay in Bangalore and I heard the news about the Bellundur lake which is in a deteriorate conditionc and the people living around the lake is suffering a lot and more over they are using the same river water for cultivating crops and vegetables and fishing, it is said that the lake is around 130yrs old. The residents filed a complain in the court for not cleaning the lake in a regular basis, and according to scientifis studies by Bangalore University and Indian Institute of Science it is found that zinc, lead, copper are there in a high level. There is a ungent need for the solution and the city municipal officials are trying to find out some solution to clean up the lake.
