Q:People of Rajarhat, Kolkata is suffering from shortage of drinking water. Has the problem been solved and whether the PHE people are taking care of the problem? Are they able to supply drinking water to the particular area in Kolkata?
Latest Answer: I am staying in Rajarhat, Kolkata and we were running out of drinking water but finally we get relief as the Public Health Engineering department thought of implementing pipelines from river Hooghly to Rajarhat New Town. Initially the water tanks will be providing 20 million gallons of water it will be purified for the supply of drinking water and it will take few more years to meet the remaining 80 million gallons to supply.
