Q:It came to our notice that the drainage system is very poor in Tuticorin and the people are suffering a lot, Will the municipal corporation take any steps against it?
Latest Answer: Due to the delay in renewal of the roads and drainage system people who are residing in Chidambaram nagar and Bryant nagar had to suffered a lot due to heavy rainfall as the drainage system is very poor, the houses and the roads were overflowing with water. The houses which were located in low lying areas were fully water logged. Only the farmers were benefited as they have to rely on rain for the cultivation. The resident of Tuticorin looking forward that the municipal corporation will do the needful for them
