Latest Answer: Recently a survey conducted by a NGO which mainly concentrated on slum dwellers in Bangalore traced that slum dwellers is paying heavy amount for water supply. After a detailed study it is found that the water authority has involved themselves in these unreliable work.

Latest Answer: As per my knowledge, I do not think the government has taken any steps but they should make sure that this do not continue otherwise the drinking water source will be a major threat to citizen's life in Bangalore.

Latest Answer: According to my knowledge, the KMC will not supply water if the civic body does not hike the water price to Rs 16 for every kilolitres.

Latest Answer: Bangalore being a vast city and the population increasing at an alarming rate, the water problems in Bangalore is increasing day by day. Moreover all the lakes in Bangalore City is getting dried slowly and the ground water level is fast depleting and the population of our city is increasing everyday. One of the solution to fight back water crisis in the city is to start restoring the lakes.

Q: Did the municipal corporation find any illegal water connection in Surat?
Latest Answer: Yes, during the surprise visit to Gujarat Environment Protection and Infrastructure Company Limited (GEPICL) by Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), they found three illegal water connections at a depth of 200mts.
