At last the project was inaugurated and according to source, the sewage plant will not only treat sewage but also it will produce electricity using biogas. About 60% of the power required for running the plant shall be met from the power generated through the gas engines. The 30 millions gallons per day Okhla sewage plant project will generate around 1,105kWh of power.

Latest Answer: Hi, we have requested the KSPCB to take legal action against the water board and even the building owners if they are found polluting the environment. But unfortunately till now they have not taking any initiative to save the environment.
