Latest Answer: There is no sign of progress in the metro work even I heard that the metro project is going to get delayed because the Central government nod by the year end has failed. According to the managing director of Kochi Metro Rail Limited, the meeting with Planning and Investment Board will be held only by the second week of January. Only after getting nod from the PIB the project will go to the Union Cabinet for approval.
