Q:I just read somewhere that there are many fake ration cards that are being generated in Mumbai and it has something to do with Aadhar card. Is it so easy? What is the Government doing to curb the menace?
Latest Answer: After an order in December 2010, the state government carried out a state wide operation of catching fake cards. In the exercise, they detected and cancelled 53.39 lakh ineligible cards. Action has been sought by the court against those officers who had issued such cards. Only one team is needed to run the function after they link both the cards via a software.
