Q:Hi, What is the status of road widening work from Hebbal to Bengaluru International Airport? When is the project getting completed? How is the project going to impact the real estate?
Latest Answer: I completely agree with Mr Sagar. India has always been a sluggish market when it comes to civic infrastructural development. Bangalore being the premier IT hub of the country has been facing this problem for a long time. The five signal free corridors were expected to reduce travelling time, traffic bottle necks and provide good infrastructure to the residents. Sadly the project is delayed. There are rumors that it the government is unlikely to reduce its minimum bid prices and hence real estate development companies are skeptical joining hands with the government. Since the projects have already been delayed due to miscommunication between various government departments, I think it is unfair to pin any hopes of real estate prices unless the road widening work is completed.
