Latest Answer: You’re right. The corporation IS coming down hard on those who have decided to ignore this step. Even buildings that have been completed for several years now have to do this. I know in some cases the owners who were alerted to install this system, chose to ignore it. They were served a notice. I heard that the corporation served over 2700 notices to different buildings throughout the city. Whoever ignored those notices, the corporation remained true to their word and actually disconnected the water supply to all these buildings.
