Q:Today morning I came to know about the demolition of the compound wall of Mantri Tranquil from one of my friend. Can anyone throw some light on the same?
Latest Answer: Hi All,
I have been a resident of the locality around Mantri for the last 17 years. Yes, there was a huge lake, spanning 8 acres, which was part of the 'Raja Kaluve'... the same WAS encroached for Mantri Tranquil, and is again being encroached to build Mantri Serenity.
Eventually, as we all add anything between 3 to 6 thousand rupees to our monthly budget of sourcing water, we will realize the importance of the lakes and associated canals. THey give life to the land and those dwelling in it.
Use of influence to close them is now coming under major scrutiny.
The High Court stay reflects on the entire stretch of the Raja Kaluve, with the Hon'Ble judge trying to reconsider if the Raja Kaulve cna itself be shifted. This is, of course, out of question, and eventual demolition is on the cards.
I am sorry for all those who were fooled into buying apartments, but it is the builder's fault to do such an act and try to get away, with the residents, to bear the brunt!
