I would add that the one of the major project undertaken by GIDA was in 1994, which was the construction of the trio of Goshree bridges connecting Vypeen with the city. This project garnered around 330 crores, out of which only 80 crore was used for the construction of the bridge, while the reamaining money was not used for futher development.
