Q:I have purchased a flat in Unitech project in Kolkata. The promoter has charged for the open car parking also but according to Supreme Court norms the promoter cannot charge the buyer for the same. Please help.
Latest Answer: Yes you are right it is illegal if the promoters are charging for the open car parking and they cannot sell the parking area as individual unit, as these areas are to be extended as a facility for the owner.
