Q:Is it right to charge service tax @ 8.12% on the Parking Lot ?? when buying a flat ? what buget rules says....as per my knowldge taxes are not applicable on Parking lot ...pls confirm
Latest Answer: Many builders sells parking space. It has been categorically mentioned in the budget that any amount paid for getting a parking slot allotted would not be subject to service tax.
