Problems with brokers
Q: why most of the properties whose owners are willing to rent it are through only brokers. As this broker business is not a legal business. Also these brokers harass people for money. These days they are also including their own clauses which are not present in the prescribed format provided by the government.

Latest Answer: Actually, a broker know the current market rate and according to this, he will provide you the apartment on rent. It is very crucial for a owner to ascertain the current market rate otherwise in such a competitive market, you can't ask for more than the market rate. Doing so will put off potential tenants.

Latest Answer: Hi Mr Tushar, Generation in variety of brokers within the market and delay in project completion are the 2 major factors stopping payments of brokers. Developers do not care as they need several choices to travel to within the market. The commission payment time that was around twelve months earlier has gone up to twenty four months currently for the corporate. Brokers are receiving the money for the work wiped out 2012 currently.

Brokers and agents misuse apartments
Q: Was recently hunting for apartment @ Tambaram , Jain Abhishek , Pace Adarsha for buy/rent. Bumped into someone camouflaging as agents claim control of apartments getting vacant , trying to monopolize rent, lease and sell . Later found these blokes deliver paper, milk etc having tie-up with brokers acting as mediators . Very surprising to see them having the keys of multiple houses and allowing strangers inside apartments at will. As these apartments are mostly owned by NRI, they simply misuse these apartments, and even go to the extent of sub-letting it for few weeks to a month till someone genuine approach for a longer stay. I myself have been through these issues when I was abroad, where my house was used as a club by some loafers in that area and hence this post is to basically to warn the owners keep the custody of the house with some trusted people, friends or relatives.
