Q:I’m planning to move to Indore soon. I’ve heard that the water supply conditions are not so good here. Will the Narmada Phase III project help in improving the water supply in Indore?
Latest Answer: Hey, the water problem is not that severe in Indore now as it was a few years back. The Narmada Phase III project has increased the water supply to some degree, if not all the way, and its only getting better.
I don’t think you would face much water crisis problems as the IMC has recently started an extra 90mlds of water in addition to the previous 210mlds. So now the citizens of Indore will receive a total of 300 million litres of water every day from the Narmada projects. Further 25 mlds of water will be provided from the dams at Yeshwent Sagar and Bilawali
