Latest Answer: I understand that this construction work is under the Slum Free city project. But still that doesn’t give them the right to encroach upon land that has not been authorised to them. The ironic thing is that they are themselves trying to free the city of the illegal slum constructions and now they have ended up doing this. They are trying to build 13440 houses to accommodate all these slum dwellers and so they started with Anna Nagar near Kovai Pudur. But this is definitely not the way to go about this problem
