Q:How is the traffic along A.B. Road? Especially now that the monsoon is here. I’m moving to Indore, close to A.B. Road next week, and I just wanted to know about the situation in this city.
Latest Answer: Conditions are not so good, but work is in progress to make it better I heard that the IMC are desilting all the blocked drainage lines, though. Another problem - trees are falling left and right, and right and people are getting injured because of that. But I’ve heard that the IMC control rooms will be open and functional 24x7 to help out any problems caused due to heavy rainfall. I also heard that the zonal offices will all deploy special teams to deal with the tree falling issue. Funds have been allocated to deal with any monsoon related problems in the city - an amount of Rs 5 lakhs actually.
