Latest Answer: Habsiguda has a huge air pollution problem, specially now with the Hyderabad Metro Rail work in progress. The area is congested and there are actually a few industries nearby, which also emit some gases. and being close to the heart of the city, it is even worse.
Q:Hi friends, I heard that finally the Charminar Pedestrianisation Project to protect the monument and the surrounding area has begun? And that they are putting up uniform signs all over.. Is it true?
Latest Answer: Previously the delay was due to the Governments decision to make all the signs in Telugu language. And this created some tension there between the shopkeepers and the authorities, The shop keepers there werent happy with the decision to not allow vehicles near the site too! But I think now the decision has been reconsidered.
