Q:It is learnt that the eight Urban local bodies (CMCs) in Bangalore Urban District have stopped issuing khatas in Form-MAR 19 from the year 2003 onwards. It may please be clarified whether the CMCs in other districts are issuing khatas at present in Form-19 or not.

Latest Answer: DC converted land requires approvals from town planning authority like BIAPPA, BDA, BMRDA etc to ensure that proper space has been allocated for roads and other amenities as per government rules. Now-a-days DC does not give the conversion order without their approvals. You may get a general Khata issued by the local Panchayat.
