I paid 4400 as tax in sahakar nagar for a property of 1800+ sqauarefeet. I think this require public attention as the Panchayath is impossing tax without any proper norms
Latest Answer: 1. The financial year for 2015-16 commences from April 1, 2015
2. Since the existing rates of Property Tax is continued for this financial year the taxes can be paid at the rates as in the previous year 2013-14, under the Self Assessment Scheme (without taking additional depreciation towards age of the building). That is the statement from BBMP. So I wonder how the tax is so high for Petnahalli Village officer.
