Khan river rejuvenation project
Q: I think the Khan river rejuvenation project will not be fruitful, as the water there is just too dirty. I dont know how they are ever planning to make it drinkable, and ultimately this expensive project will only be a fail. What do you guys think? Let's have a discussion.

Latest Answer: "So according to one of several such directive from the NGT to the IMC they were told to ensure that no garbage must be dumped in any of the rivers.Municipal commissioner was directed to file an affidavit by March 21, 2015, highlighting steps taken by them for prevention of further dumping of municipal solid waste and de-silting of the rivers. "

Latest Answer: Yes, there really has been an unusual number of dogbites here in Indore lately. I know the authorities are claiming to have done quite a lot about this issue, but to be honest we dont see the change anywhere.

Latest Answer: I think first when this high power line came into existence, the civic body had lodged a complaint against it with district administration, based on which an order was issued to stop the work. But that order wasnt complied with and work continued as usual.

Latest Answer: As far as I have heard trees are mostly being cut. I know for a fact that they are planning on cutting down 114 trees to make space for broadening 11 roads here in the city.

Latest Answer: Yeah they are conducting frequent surveys nowadays to find out these violations. Just a month ago IMC officials carried out survey and measured two major properties in the Vijay Nagar area—the Synergy hospital and NRK Business Park.

Latest Answer: Oh yeah I heard about that. Apparently after the first crashed here, the police came and they were trying to remove the remains of the car. But pretty soon another car sped down this same route and crashed in the exact same spot. Thank god nobody got hurt the second time.
