Q: I heard that the genuine people who are paying water bills are not getting sufficient water but those who are having illegal connection are more than sufficient water why is it so that no one is taking any steps against the illegal connections and what are the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board is doing?
Latest Answer: I am residing in Kamanahalli, Bangalore for past two years and we are suffering with the irregular supply of water problem in our area, but people drawing water from some of the illegal connections are not paying any tax, people like us who are paying regular tax are get irregular water and when the resident complains to the authority they donot pay any heed, the state government has also not traced a single illegal connection or even taking the steps to disconnect those connections. The blame is on Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board for giving illegal connection, if the water supply in that area is not possible then should supply water through tankers.
