Q:Currently, most builders are collecting Rs. 150 per sq. ft towards BESCOM and BWSSP. In my area, Kaveri line is not yet laid, and the builder has said that we have to pay from our pocket whenever the line comes, if it happens after he leaves. He has currently provided 3 borewell, and has made all provisions for Kaveri water to be connected whenever it is available. Also, in case of BESCOM, he has said that a small meter transfer charge will have to be paid, inspite of already paying the above.I would like to understand, what all do to expect from builder to be provided in this amount? Should we collect any specific documents, receipts from him for the above, both individually and as an association? Also, should I expect any other additional charges later on?
Latest Answer: Hi Sunit, I do not think builder can collect BESCOM charges and Bswwb charges depending on square feet but before you pay it is better to take advice from some legal expert in this matter.
