Q:I stay in Bangalore and everyday when I go for morning walk, I see the Ulsoor lake which has less water and more of Plaster of Paris. I feel bad for the nature and why the BBMP people are not cleaning the lake?
Latest Answer: Hi Kanthi, it is really sad that the lake is full of plaster of paris, reason is the immersion of the idols during the time of Durga Puja and Ganesh Chaturthi it has made the lake water lacks in green water. The BBMP made a seperate tank for the immersion of the idols which also lead to a huge problem to the people. The BBMP said that the work is getting delay because of rain as the plaster of paris does not dissolve in water and to clean the water the weather need to be dry.
