Latest Answer: GHMC is all set to encourage people to come up with heritage buildings for which GHMC would give 50 percent tax exemption. The government is going to take the initiative to renovate Mahabub Chowk, and Clock Tower. Deccan Park will also be restored. The mobile toilets and the toilets in the south east side of Charminar will be repaired and bins will be removed.

Q: What type of callousness is this, using heritage property for washing clothes? Why is the government not taking any strict action against this disrespectful act?
Latest Answer: This is because the government is not paying any heed to take care of the heritage structures in the city. The Archaeological Survey of India which was supposed to protect this 18th century building was unaware of this fact. But now the government has promised to preserve it carefully.
