Latest Answer: The present scenario says that there are no policies laid out for the proper disposal of e-wastes. This was told by Kochi Corporation’s town planning committee chairman K J Sohan. The current condition is that, the collection, segregation, dismantling, and recycling of electronic wastes are carried out largely by unorganised sectors. They collect various e-wastes like RAM chips, CPUs, monitors, and keyboards from scratch and sell them to small time deals and scratch collectors. The buyers are all come from various cities like Coimbatore, Mumbai, and Delhi.
