Latest Answer: Yes, many people are now using the 99mycity app for the clean up mission. This is where pictures of garbage and over spilling bins will be posted by the residents and till now over 800 pictures have been posted, and it is fast becoming popular.
Latest Answer: No, it seems like they haven't started the garbage collection like they promised. Indore does not have a proper garbage collection system and even there is no proper drainage system also. The IMC have previously introduced garbage schemes in 2011 and 2013 which did not quite become successful. Even this year they introduced a pilot project in the Palasia area. The residents of the city have complained so many times to the authorities, but to no avail. The Madhya Pradesh High Court also ordered the civic body to find some solutions for the garbage problem, but there is not much being done.
