Q:Hey is there some kind of traffic diversion going on at the NH47 because of the metro rail work? I’m starting my new job in two days, and I have to take the NH47 to get to work. Can anybody help out a bit?
Latest Answer: Arey don’t worry man! This blockage is not at all for us. Its just for the bigger vehicles, you know the double decker trucks that transport shipment along this route t night. Any big vehicles that are bound to the airport will have to turn left from the Paravoor junction and then turn right towards Aluva. Also, to reach this Aluva Paravoor junction, vehicles will have to pass through Pathalam jn, Mupathadam jn, Kadungallur west and Kadangallur east, and then turn towards the UC college jn. So basically vehicles headed to Thrissur and Aluva will have to move through the flyover underpass at Apollo Gate and then make a right turn into Edayar road at the container freight junction.
