The land was inspected last October, and there it was decided that it would be acquiring the Iscon land under the Land Acquisition Act. Initially they wanted to get all 1601.85 sq. yards or 1339.35 sq. m of the temple’s land. But out of respect for the institution of the temple, they reduced the size to 612.77 square yards, or 512.35 square metres.
