Q:Hey, I recently bought an individual house in Avinashi Road. I currently stay in R.S Puram, and I will be shifting to this house in Avinashi road in a month or two. I recently heard of some sewage water issue in the area, which is causing a bit of an inconvenience for the residents there. I have two little kids and I don't want them to fall sick due to unclean water in the area. Latest Answer: Well, it’s not just Avinashi road, nearby areas like Lakshmi Garden, Anbu Nagar, etc are also affected by this problem. But, I hear the PWD did not make that hole. Why would they?. They are the ones who constructed the check dam for our safety. However, I think they shouldn't just let the matter sit quietly, they should punish idiots who did such a thing and quickly do something to repair these damages. Because, it won’t just have short term effects but will also have long-term effects like pollution of groundwater. Areas like Avinashi road are good booming real estate areas.
