Latest Answer: I feel that its the need of the hour to bring down stamp duty in the states like Madhya Pradesh to 5% from the existing rate of 6.25%. All the thriving states like New Delhi, Punjab and Haryana have stamp duty of 5%, which is a reason why the real estate market there is so successful.
