Short Term Effect: The Government plans to improve the states infrastructure (like laying good roads, providing street lights, proper drainage system, good sanitation, etc). with the revenue generated by the scheme. Bangalore would be the first to receive all amenities making the city more profitable for property investors.
Long term effect: The scheme provides opportunity for B-Khata to be converted to A-Khata once the property has been regularized by paying Betterment Charges.
