Q:I have a plot (with the house built) within a gated community on the main road which is open to public and the road is a connecting road between neighbouring layouts. The road is become a very busy road, and noise and has no longer viable for resident purposes because of the noise. I have been trying to rent it out for the last 2+ years but unable to get tenants because of the exact reasons mentioned above. I live outside the city because of work reasons and cannot occupy the property myself. The association says the property cannot be converted to commercial, with the given situation this cannot be rented out nor can we sell the property. I believe BBMP has given approval for other properties outside the layout (in the same road) for making them commercial. Please advice what are the rules around BBMP to get the property converted to commercial and what takes precedence over the property BBMP or the association. Appreciate any suggestions.
